England Athletics and The Amateur Athletic Association are sorry to hear of the death of AAA Life Vice President Eric Nash who passed away on 16 June after a lifetime of service to athletics.
In addition to his service to the AAA, Eric held the posts of President and Secretary of the South of England AA, President of Kent County AA, Secretary of the Southern Men’s Association, Secretary of England Cross Country Association, President of the English Cross Country Union, Trustee of the AAA Charity for the Young and President of Cambridge Harriers. At the time of his death Eric was still active on the committees of Kent County AA and the English Cross Country Association and was Club Secretary for Cambridge Harriers, a position he had held for over 30 years.
