Running @home

Advice for all for running during these unprecedented times

As we all find ourselves responding to the challenge of spending more time at home and not being able to run as we would normally; England Athletics has expanded its campaign to support Athletics and Running for Everyone @home, with a focus here on ‘Running @home’ support and advice which is updated weekly.

Martin’s message of the week

Autumn is always about two things in the world of England Athletics – fabulous runs in the amazing light this time of year always supplies, and thinking about education! Early winter is the perfect time to start thinking about getting to grips with the technical aspects of running. We have a huge variety of courses on offer that are useful for your own running as much as they can help you help others understand the passion and excitement our sport undoubtedly creates. It’s fantastic to hear how the first thing Geoff Wightman -coach to Britain’s best 1500 runner in a generation, Jake Wightman – did was to sign up for a set of courses to make sure he could help his boy become the best he could be. Check out our courses section to learn more about what’s on offer. It’s well worth the time.
