The Jim Dingwall Elloughton 10K
Date: Sunday 10th August 2008.
Race Start: 9.30am.
A fast, flat, rural 2 lap 10k road race starting and finishing at Brantingham Park, Elloughton, East Riding of Yorkshire.
Prizes for first 10 men, first 5 ladies. Extensive veteran, junior, and team prizes.
Prizes for setting new course records.

The Mizuno Beverley 5K Classic
Date: Friday 1st August 2008.
Race Start: 6pm.
A four lap race around the centre of Beverley, followed by the British Cycling National Circuit Race Championships on the same course.
Over £500 worth of prizes. Including Men's and Women's 1st place prize of £100.
An accurate 5k, that can be used in uk rankings.
Possible Eurosport coverage of the evenings events.
York Millennium Bridge 5k (2.5k race and 1m fun run)
Course: From St Georges Field car park (near York Castle), flat, fast and attractive. Course certified accurate: Certificate No. 03/052
1 mile fun run: Starts 6.50pm. Entry £1, entries on the night only.
2.5k: Starts 7pm. Minimum age 11 on race day (no upper limit).
5k: 2 races, 1st for junior/senior men/vets up to age 59. Start 7.20. Minimum age 15 on race day.
2nd race for women and men 60 and over. Start 7.35.
Inter Regional Half Marathon Championships
England Athletics Yorkshire and Humberside are pleased to confirm that they will be entering a team into the Inter Regional Half Marathon Championships which are to be staged as part of the Experian Robin Hood Festival of Running in Nottingham on 14th September 2008.
3 Men and 3 Women are required for the regional team who will be competing for a first prize of £4,500 of which each scoring team member will receive £250 with the remainder going towards endurance development with the region. Travel and accommodation for the event will be paid for.
If you wish to be considered for selection please complete the attached regional nomination form (below) and return it to the regional office either by post or by emailing mdixon@englandathletics.org Nominations need to be received by Friday 1st August 2008 with team selections being made the week commencing Monday 4th August.
