1.      Flora London Marathon Sunday 13^th April 2008

1.1. UK Championships Team Selection for GB Olympic Marathon Team

1.2. England Athletics National Marathon Championships

The England Athletics Marathon Championships to be staged within the FLM will make the following awards;

Individuals

Gold Medals – 1^st Man and Woman

Silver Medals – 2^nd Man and Woman

Bronze Medals – 3^rd Man and Woman

Athletes must be registered with England Athletics Affiliated Clubs

Teams

      Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals – Men’s and Women’s 3 to count (Athletes must be registered with England Athletics Affiliated Club and must wear club colours)

1.3. England Athletics Team Selection for Toronto Marathon 28th September 2008

Once athletes have been selected for GB Team, England will select the next 3 men and 3 women athletes (that qualify for selection, residents and athletes must be registered with England Athletics Affiliated Club) who will be invited to represent England at the Toronto Marathon 19^th October 2008. The following times will be used as a guide to selection sub 2.25 men and sub 2.43 women

Teams  selection will confirmed at a later date.

2.      England Athletics Team Selection for Marseille 10K 1^st May 2008

4 Men and 4 Women

Selected from Area Relays (South, Midlands and North) 5^th and 6^th April 2008 based on the fastest male from the long leg and fastest female overall from each Area, the fourth member of each team will be selected on current road running and cross country form

Selection will take place on 7^th/8^th April 2008

Teams will be announced on 10^th April 2008

3.      England Athletics Team Selection for U23 5K Welsh Championships 2^nd March 2008

4 men and 4 women (3 to count) in a Home Country Match

Team to be selected on form taking into account recent cross country championships as well as road up to and including 9^th/10^th February 2008

Selection will take place on 11^th /12^th February 2008

Teams will be announced on 14^th February 2008

4.  (TBC)    England Athletics Team Selection for St Mary’s International Relays 8th June 2008

2 England Athletes:

1 x U20

Men: 1 X U23 – 800m, 1500m, 3Ksc (possibly 2 x 800/1500 on interest)

Women: 800m, 1500m, 3Ksc, 10k trial TBC and U20 3k? (possibly 2 x 800/1500 based on interest)

England Team: Men and Women

4 x 100m

4 x 200m

4 x 400m

Team will be selected on early season performance up to and including CAU Inter       

Counties Championships 25^th/26^th May 2008

Selection will take place on 29^th May 2008

Teams will be announced on 30^th May 2008
