A - Welfare
A workshop looking at providing support to club volunteers around the role of the welfare officer, processes for grievances and disciplinaries, roles of UKA/EA welfare staff, best practise and where to go for additional training support

B - Junior development
How is your club structured to ensure young athletes can achieve their potential? Looking at skill development, competition, the award framework and club structures

C - Promoting Your Athletics Club
How clubs can proactively promote themselves using marketing & promotion tools. Writing press releases or reports on activity at the club and the use of social media

D - Paying staff and coaches
Have you considered paying coaches or admin staff to support the development of your club or to run after school club? This workshop will look at processes, benefits, and look to facilitate an open discussion on the topic.

A - Coach Management*
The workshop will help clubs be able to identify methods and good practice to recruit coaches; recognise the importance of developing coaches; appreciate how successful coach support can help retain coaches; and consider ways of recognising and rewarding club coaches.

B - Understanding the current schools climate
This workshop will look to provide clubs with information on the current and future direction of the school environment. The workshop will focus on extracurricular activity, such after schools clubs and provide information on schools games and elevating athletics resources and courses.

C - Safe athletics
Why clubs must care about health and safety? The workshop will look at legal (including insurance) and best practise for health and safety at club training night and at events.

D - Volunteer workshop
This workshop will look at providing advice to clubs on implementing a  long term recruitment plan for volunteer, so that clubs can see volunteers recruited on a regular basis. The workshop will be interactive and look to facilitate discussion and best practice from all volunteers involved.

D - Club Governance
As a volunteer are you covered? Does your club governance allow your club to grow and be sustainable? This workshop will look at all the opportunities available to your club including incorporation, CASC, charity status. The sessions will be interactive and look to share best practice from other clubs in the area.
