The South West values athletes as central to our sport. Raising standards is an area we are developing and part of this is working through tools such as the Power of 10. To recognise the achievements of athletes in the region we have decided to support a number of athletes from the SW who have achieved performances within the Power of 10 national standards for their age group.
The athletes listed below have been given a bursary towards items that they have identified will help them within the sport such as equipment, kit or suport such as physio.
We applied for a grant through Aqua Pura Womens intitiative and were delighted to be awarded an amount which enabled all the women and girls to be supported through this scheme.
The men and boys have been supported through part of the SW regional budget.
