Being athlete centred is essential to develop athletics in the south west.
We hope to build this section with athletes in the region, so please if anyone would like to write a report or submit any ideas on what you would like to see in this section, please email the regional office at southwestoffice@englandathletics.org

SW Athletes eligibility to compete in Midlands Champs
We have recently received confirmation from the Midlands that athletes in clubs from all counties in the SW (Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire) will be able to compete in their championships.
This is great news and supports the work we have done to enable athletes to choose which events they go to.
The letter from them with more detail is attached below.

Parents
We recognise that parents and carers are key support to our younger athletes. We hope to build a section to support parents with relevant information and updates on how to support your child in athletics.
