Our aim is to:
To increase the capacity of the sport and improve performance in every event at every age group and in every region
We will do this by

Increase recruitment: by pro-active efforts to attract more athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, sponsors and supporters to the sport.

Raise standards: by providing support to make it possible for athletes, whatever their level, to improve their performances and for others who serve the sport to achieve excellence in their fields.

Retain involvement: by delivering quality services, clear pathways and demonstrating appreciation of those who contribute to the sport
|
Build profile: by being successful at the highest level; communicating to increase the presence of the sport, enhance its image and inspire new interest from the public.

We feel that communication is a key factor to supporting athletics in the south west region. This website will help to improve and develop one method of communication within the region. We also distribute an e-newsletter - please see the news section for details.
