10.Mar.10  Physical Preparation for Road Running Clubs A Physical Preparation for Road Running Clubs workshop will be held on Wednesday 14th April in Leicester.  Led by certified strength and conditioning specialist Pete McKnight, it will be a general workshop on physical preparation in the club environment.

08.Mar.10  Close final in Derbyshire Sportshall Athletics Gayton Junior School from Derby West was the winning team at this year’s East Midlands Airport Derbyshire Year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics Finals.  In the closest final ever, the team from Gayton Junior School took the winners’ trophy with 300 points – just four more points than closest rivals.

08.Mar.10  Leicester meeting planned to update local coaches An informal coaches meeting in Leicester is being planned to provide an update on New Coaching Qualifications and the Local Coach Development Programme.
