Get Running Beginners' Group gives boost to Beaumont Club

Beaumont Running Club is a long-established road running club based in Leicester city. It has enjoyed much success but at times achieving full team representation has been a challenge. A Beginners' Running Group scheme was set up and the positive impact was immediate.

08.May.13 Washlands Women Runners celebrate Accredited Club status Washlands Women Runners today had a double celebration: the club celebrates its 16th birthday today, and are now an England Athletics Accredited club as well.
30.Apr.13 Get running with Leicestershire Local Runs Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport (LRS) have launched a new way to run; Leicestershire Local Runs. As part of the Run England initiative to get the whole nation running, LRS are planning local led runs for runners of all abilities.
23.Apr.13 Derbyshire Sport Coaches’ Conference - book now! The annual Derbyshire Sport Coaches’ Conference will be even bigger and better with a choice of up to 19 different workshops, delivered by experts in the fields of coaching, strength and conditioning, injury prevention, sports nutrition and psychology and a series of sports specific master classes.
