North East Regional Awards evening
30.Jun.10The North East Region have announced that their Regional Awards evening will take place on 4th October, at the Durham County Ground, Chester-Lee-Street, Durham. The Awards recognise the work of clubs, volunteers, officials and coaches, as well as the areas of partnership and disability athletics, and reward contributions and commitment to our sport over the past 12-month period.

22.Jun.10 North East athletes in top form in Bedford North East athletes were in top form at the Aviva England Athletics Under-23/Under-20 Championships and World Trials in Bedford over the weekend.

15.Jun.10 North of Tyne Athletics Network seeking salaried co-ordinator The North of Tyne Athletics Network in partnership with Tyne & Wear Sport has recently been successful in securing funding for the next 3 years from England Athletics. To assist NOTAN in delivering the above objectives and drive athletics forward an exciting new position of Network Coordinator has been created.

14.Jun.10 Schools Super8 event precursor to National Champs A Super8 event will be taking place on the 17th July at Gateshead Stadium as a precursor to the National Senior Championships, running from 10am to noon. Super 8 is a team based competition where each athlete participating will complete in one track, one field and one relay.
