Vision Statement

We are Manchester Athletics Network, supporting clubs to work together. We aim to grow and drive the provision of quality athletics for all Manchester residents, through participation, volunteering and coaching opportunities.

Key Projects
  • Clubs Support – The network offers an opportunity for clubs to come and share good practice between our newly established and experienced clubs.
  • Coach Development - Raising the Quality of Coaching
  • Raising Awareness of all Manchester Clubs – Opening up opportunities for Manchester’s people across participation, volunteering and coaching in athletics
  • Young Volunteer Development – Leaders to be mentored by experienced coaches and given training opportunities to build life skills through athletics
  • Parent Involvement – Increase all round involvement from parents in various capacities, as role models, support systems, volunteers and involving them in club structures
  • Club Consistencies – Standard procedures for all basic Club practices, which ensures equal opportunities for all Manchester Residents
  • Official Development – Shared bank of officials to support clubs in hosting competitions

A one stop shop for your information for Sport in your City SITC is working closely with Manchester and the M60 Athletics Network to provide easy access to a local clubs information. SITC also provide design, printing and further PR / Media support for the Networks.
