Aims
  • Improve standards of coaching
  • Increase the number of coaches, officials and other volunteers within the Network
  • Increased collaboration between clubs to share coaching knowledge
  • Form strong partnerships with external partners such as school sports partnership and HE / FE for the benefit of athletics in the area
  • Provide support and guidance to drive forward club development
  • Improve communication of news, opportunities and achievements throughout the network
  • Improve athlete retention by forming innovative partnerships with HE / FE colleges
  • Offer improved support for talented athletes

  • Implement a mentoring infrastructure across the network
