Aims The Forum was established over 10 years ago and has grown in size and influence ever since. Today it comprises 14 athletic and running clubs in and around Plymouth, East Cornwall and West Devon.

Our mission is to develop athletics in the area, with a united voice whilst working with local authorities, county associations and the athletics governing bodies. We aim to develop Club/Schools links and work with SSCO’s, local Colleges and Universities.

To help with these aims the  Forum organises numerous events each year and fields a composite team in the South West Track & Field League and encourages athletes into Higher Level Competition.
Activities Activities proposed by the network include introduction of a park based series of road races, delivery of taster recreational sessions at community events and town centre sites, local Coaching/Officials courses, coach mentoring and forums, working with Women’s Running Network to develop Ladies from jogging to competition, and cross club coaching with the Flying Coach programme to help provide support and mentoring.

We aim to develop links with schools, Colleges and Universities whilst supporting schools competition and working with SSCOs and Competition Managers.

To assist with achieving these goals the Network has employed a Club and Coach Coordinator.
