Sport England
Sport England is the government’s lottery investor for sport. Sport England is our core funding partner and is providing four year funding investment to deliver our core priorities – particularly clubs and coaching. We are also working with Sport England on specific projects to promote participation in athletics that will also allow more effective ways of bringing people into sport to be developed in the future. Northern Power Grid
Northern Power Grid (was CE Electric UK) – the company that owns and operates the electricity distribution networks in Yorkshire, northern Lincolnshire and the North-east - is proud to support England Athletics through its corporate sponsorship programme. John Barnett, Head of Customer Operations, said: “There’s nothing more important to us than giving something back to the communities that we serve. The England Athletics programme gives young people the chance to keep fit and have fun, whilst offering some of the region’s most promising young athletes the best possible start in their sporting careers.”

Create Development
Create Development work in partnership with England Athletics on the development of Athletics 365 and in helping support coaches on the Local and National Coach Development Programme (especially around youth development). Puma is the official supplier of sportswear to England Athletics. Technical Puma clothing is supplied to members of the England Athletics Team to compete in but it is not only high level competitors who benefit from the relationship. The deal with Puma also sees officials supported through receiving Puma clothing and the work done with developing young athletes is incorporated into the deal with Puma also supporting the English Schools championships as part of its deal with England Athletics. Sunwise
England Athletics and Sunwise have a relationship which sees the sunglasses manufacturer acting as a supplier of products to the governing body and also sponsoring our Hall of Fame. Sunwise supply sunglasses to England Athletics for distribution to key people within the sport. This includes sunglasses being given to winners at England Athletics National Championships, members of England Athletics Teams, selected coaches and officials in recognition of their work and contribution within the sport.
Sunwise is also sponsor of the England Athletics Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame, launched in 2008, recognises the contribution made to the sport by inspirational athletes. Go to website.
Sweatshop
England Athletics has a partnership with specialist athletics retailer Sweatshop which sees members benefit from discounts on kit and money being ploughed back into a grass roots coaching programme. Everyone registered as a member of England Athletics is given a £5 voucher to spend with the specialist athletics retailer as well as a 10% discount on their purchases. Whenever any kit is bought by someone who shows their membership card 2% of the value of the sale will be donated to England Athletics by Sweatshop. This key aspect of the three year deal will help enable the expansion of the ‘Flying Coach’ programme which benefits affiliated clubs across the country. Go to website.
