The council is also working towards developing strong links with key partners such as County Athletics Development Groups, Sport England, Private Sector Business and other agencies. There are also a number of focus groups in the region who work to develop specific areas such as coaching, officials, road running etc – these groups are made up of key individuals plus representatives from each county in the region.
