Information for officials

You can contact our head office (contact details at the bottom of the page) to find out more about the accreditation process but in this section we have put together some information which may help answer some of your questions or point you to where the answers can be found.  There are also Officials sections in the Your Area section of our website.

There have been recent and ongoing changes to the way officials’ accreditation process works. To see the current accreditation process you should see our England Athletics Officials Flowchart document.

Tri-Regional Officials Groups (TRG’s) have been set up to take responsibility for the overall management of Senior Officials within England. As the name suggests, each of these covers three of the nine regions within England Athletics. The Tri-Regional Groups make recommendations to the UK Peer Group for International and National matches. You can download details of these groups on the right hand side of this page.

To find out more you can go to the Official’s section of the UK Athletics website. This can be found at:  www.uka.org.uk/competitions/officials
