Goldie performed exceptionally at English Schools competitions and is the current British record holder for Javelin. That record was set at the best of the times - the Olympic final in Beijing! Injury meant she was not able to contest the 2010 European Championships or Commonwealth Games but Goldie remains one of Britain's top field event athletes.
