Phillips Idowu is one of England's best triple jumpers and has claimed World and European Championship titles. After impressing in the AAA (now England Athletics Championships) Under-20s Championships in 1997, he continued to improve and just three years later he was ranked in the top 10 triple jumpers in the world. He has competed in three Olympic Games, his best performance being in 2008 when he clinched Silver.
