England Athletics made a commitment at the end of 2012 to ensuring we increased our consultation with clubs and people within the sport.

We have been carrying out consultation through:

Whether you believe your views, experiences or ideas are likely to be very similar or very different to those of other clubs we want to hear what they are. We want to hear what you have to say so please get involved and make your voice heard.

Following on from what was raised at the events we held in 2012 and the online submissions we received we want to focus these consultations on two subjects. While these two areas are the focus for the series of events we will also be looking to identify other subjects that club’s believe should form part of our focus for future consultation:

• Affiliation – including pricing and processes
• Governance – including how we work to ensure democratic processes for England Athletics work effectively

  
2013 Consultation Events

These events are very important for us as we seek to gain insights and ideas from clubs, as well as having the opportunity to hear the views of clubs on the important issues that we will be discussing together. They help us to shape our policies and approaches as we move forwards.

2013 Online Survey

As part of our 2013 Consultation England Athletics is currently conducting an online survey. It is essential that as many people as possible across the  sport complete this survey to help us understand the priorities, wishes and views of the sport with regards to the future work of England Athletics.

To complete the survey please go to www.englandathletics.org/consultation2013. This survey closed on Monday 6 May.

Please note that we held 10 Consultation events across the country. This online consultation survey should NOT be seen as an alternative to representatives attending these events. We want to gauge the views within the sport on a number of issues affecting the sport that people are discussing in greater detail at the consultation events.

The events remain a fundamental part of our 2013 Consultation (see www.englandathletics.org/consultation for details) and we want to engage with as many clubs and their representatives as possible at these events.

We would like to thank people who attended the meetings and would encourage as many people as possible to attend in future as these events facilitate discussion and sharing of views in a way it is not possible to achieve online.
