Alison unveiled as Greater Manchester Officer

England Athletics Administrator Alison Lysons has been unveiled as the new County Athletics Development Officer for Greater Manchester.

NW Regional Chairman, Shaun O'Donnell said:

"Alison has been far more than an administrative officer at the North West Office.  In addition to  all her clerical skills she has played an important role in the formation of the North West Plan and keeping us all in line with her friendly but firm manner.

She has unflappably dealt with endless phone calls and has regarded her role as more of a vocation than a job.  I am pleased that her qualities will not be lost to athletics as she takes up her new position with Greater Manchester Sport.  I am certain that she will  have an even greater impact of the development of the athletics in this new post and will be a positive force to enhance links between Greater Manchester Sport and the North West Team

On behalf of all your friends on the North West Council I wish you every success with your new role."
