New Chief Executive for England Athletics

Shaun O'Donnell Chair of the North West Regional Council is pleased to announce that new Chief Executive for England Athletics is Mike Summers who has been the project manager for the Road Running Leadership Group. His previous role was in a multi-national company where he was responsible for managing a group of people who were spread around the world as International Marketing Director. Many people have been encouraged over the past few months by his commitment to working with and through the volunteers within the sport and his ability to lead the team both centrally and regionally is without doubt considering his experience in his previous roles.  Having worked with him for some months I am confident that he will be able to lead England Athletics to a new level. He has begun work today on some aspects of the role and will be starting offically either March 3rd or 10th depending on the speed with which he can clear up any outstanding work for the RRLG.
