Administration of Teacher Education courses is shortly being passed over to the North East Region. There will be changes made to the courses available to teachers and to the Elevating Athletics resource, which will be relaunched in February 2008. These pages will contain more information as it becomes available. Any schools that currently have an Elevating Athletics resource will be sent the updated CD ROM free of charge.
The information below highlights the basic principles and content of the courses - but these can be made to meet the demands of schools and teachers across the region. The courses can be broken into 2 half days or condensed into a half day or twighlight session. They can also be taylored to meet specific demands i.e. how to fully engage a class of 30 children / technical event sessions / Sportshall athletics.
Just contact a member of the Regional Team for more information or to book a course after February 2008 (Tel 0191 420 0553)
