The plan identified four ‘cornerstones’ through which it will be delivered as follows:

Increased recruitment: by pro-active efforts to attract more athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, sponsors and supporters to the sport.

Retain involvement: by delivering quality services, clear pathways and demonstrating appreciation of those who contribute to the sport.

Raise standards: by providing support to make it possible for athletes, whatever their level, to improve their performances and for others who serve the sport to achieve excellence in their fields.

Build profile: by being successful at the highest level; communicating to increase the presence of the sport, enhance its image and inspire new interest from the public
