We have created a pack of Primary School Athletics Resource packs complete with lesson plans, ideas for sports day and loads of other teacher advice and support on a handy IOS app. It's free to access. Just register and you will be sent login instructions within 72 hours.

Reminder: Join our Volunteering Support scheme to help make volunteering the best experience possible

England Athletics, funded by Spirit of 2012, are looking for between 20-30 people to join us on the first leg of a very exciting adventure! Supporting volunteers, helping them to settle in and feel valued in a club setting is so important and so we're pleased to announce this opportunity following on from our Innovation Day last month, where a group of club volunteers came together to share their experiences and ideas. You can now sign up for the first wave training day on 1st July in London

Host an Inspiration Day at your club

Passionate about everyone getting involved in our sport? Want to do something to celebrate and access a small grant to help? For the first time in history one city will host back to back Championships in recognition of this country's love of our sport. England Athletics and the Team Personal Best campaign (teampersonalbest.org) are inviting clubs to hold Inspiration Days (ParaAthletics Inclusive Days) to encourage their communities to get involved and try our sport this summer.

Invitation to Disability Summit: 14th July 2017

As part of the Inspiration Programme, we are holding a Disability Summit in London on 14th July for anyone who wants to learn more about provision for disabled people in their club or group. To get your free tickets complete with an invite to the first session of the World Para Athletics Championships read on.

A Thank You to the So Let’s Go Running Bexley group leaders

As part of Volunteers' Week, the runners at the RunTogether So Let's Go Running Bexley group decided to make a special 'Thank You' to the group leaders Brian Page and Dawn Annett. Kate Shutt, one of the volunteer leaders and a runner with the group organised some gifts for Brian and Dawn to say thank you to them for giving up their time.

Volunteers' Week: Running Coach Denise Nott

As part of National Volunteers' Week, from the 1st to the 7th June, we will be celebrating the fantastic work of our volunteers within the Athletics and Running community whose dedication, commitment and enthusiasm make the sport happen! On day five we are celebrating Denise Nott, a coach at Calne Running Club. Denise decided to take her Coach in Running Fitness Course, to ensure the athletes at the club were given the best possible training and support they could get.

Volunteers' Week: Volunteer Coordinator Elliot Prince

As part of National Volunteers' Week, from the 1st to the 7th June, we will be celebrating the fantastic work of our volunteers within the Athletics and Running community whose dedication, commitment and enthusiasm make the sport happen! It's day four, and today we will be focusing on the fantastic achievements of Elliot Prince, a volunteer coordinator at Cheltenham and County Harriers, who works hard to encourage and support more people to become involved in volunteering within the club.

Volunteers' Week: Mental Health Ambassador Cat Woods

As part of National Volunteers' Week, from the 1st to the 7th June, we will be celebrating the fantastic work of our volunteers within the Athletics and Running community whose dedication, commitment and enthusiasm make the sport happen! It's day three, and today we will be celebrating Cat Woods, a Mental Health Ambassador who is helping to raise awareness and encourage people with mental health problems to take up, continue or get back in to running.
