Race walkers do the England vest proud in Switzerland

Tom Bosworth, Callum Wilkinson and Gemma Bridge starred for England Athletics in a high-quality Lugano Trophy Meeting in Switzerland last weekend. Cameron Corbishley clocked a new Personal Best and in the Under 20 10km races, Chris Snook improved his personal best and Tom Partington finished in his second quickest time for the distance.

Athlete wellbeing – spot the early signs of eating disorders

England Athletics works with a range of partners to promote the wellbeing of all athletes involved in the sport, whatever their ability, aspiration or event. We want to help clubs and those involved in the sport in adopting a preventative approach to identify athletes who may be at the early stages of eating disorders.

Team selected for SIAB Cross Country International

Following a marvellous New Balance English Schools' AA Cross Country Championships at the challenging venue at Norfolk Showground last weekend, teams were selected to compete at the SIAB (Schools' International Athletic Board) Cross Country International in Wales which takes place on the 25th March.

Hatch Warren Runners are the latest club to take part in the popular Club Run programme, with the three sessions culminating in many of their runners going on to compete in the Reading and Fleet Half-Marathons which took place last weekend, as well as several members of the club preparing for next month's Virgin London Marathon.

Sir Mo Farah and Kadeena Cox scoop top BEDSA awards

Sir Mo Farah and Kadeena Cox were the big winners at this year's Lycamobile BEDSAs, staged at the Hilton Park Lane, London recently and part-sponsored by England Athletics. They were named Lycamobile Sportsman and Sporting Equals Sportswoman of the Year at a glittering awards show hosted by Sir Lenny Henry.

England's strong XC teams hoping to win their last fixture of the winter

The Home Countries International Cross Country takes place at the Margam Park Estate, Port Talbot, Wales on Saturday. This is the last cross country of the season and takes place on the same weekend as the World Cross in Uganda. England travel with strong teams targeting wins in all four races.

New AAA Chairman elected

The AAA Management Board would like to record the Association's appreciation for the invaluable service that outgoing Chairman Chris Carter has rendered to the AAA during his tenure since taking office in 2009. Walter Nicholls was elected as the new Chair.

Athletics Weekly's latest weekly round-up

The major action was the English Schools' Cross Country Championships but it was a very busy weekend, especially on the roads; reports from half marathons in Reading, Fleet, Brentwood, Coventry, Hampton Court, Hastings and Wilmslow.
