Burton Athletics Club recently hosted an Officials Taster Session at the club to encourage more parents to get involved. They used the free resources available on our website from Team Personal Best to help them with the day, and following the taster session, hosted a Level 1 Field Course at the club to allow those interested to continue their officiating journey.

Teams from across the home countries, the GBNI Under 20 team, Denmark, and the British Olympic winning 4x100m relay team from 2004 who are competing toraise funds for the 'We Love Manchester Emergency Fund', are all set for the Manchester International. The event provides a great opportunity to see athletes from across the home countries in action and as part of the fundraising 4x100m relay, Manchester's former world boxing champions Anthony Crolla and Scott Quigg will be lining up as part of one of the teams.

An exciting first day of action in the England Athletics U17 and U15 Combined Events Championships has taken place in Manchester. Athletes have put down some big performances to stake a claim for the respective titles at the half way point, however with places being tight there will be no let-up when it comes to tomorrows schedule of events.
