29.Feb.12 Sportshall encourages young athletes to join athletics club
Junior athletes from KAAC, South Lakes schools and Barrow competed against teams from all over the North West at the Sportshall Finals held at Sportcity. The team was created through a local Sportshall athletics event last year where 7 primary schools competed.

The Isle of Man Athletics Association and IOM Athletics Network recently facilitated two Sports Coach UK (SCUK) workshops in partnership with the Department of Community Culture and Leisure’s Sports Development Unit (SDU).

09.Feb.12 Coach Development Bursaries for Cheshire Coaches
Cheshire County Sports Partnership have launched the Coaching Cheshire and Warrington Coach Development Bursary. The bursary is for Level 2 (and above) coaches to apply for up to £250 towards development of any kind.
