Following the legacy of the Paralympics, an IPC Permit meeting in Wigan will be one of the first to be a fully inclusive event. However, more Technical Officials are desperately needed! So if you are a licensed official and you'd like to either improve your skills at a disability event or perhaps experience it for the first time, why not come along and enjoy some northern hospitality?

09.Apr.13 Dhoon Primary School giving race walk opportunities
Dhoon School is a small, rural primary school with a weekly, after-school 'fitness club' for school years 3 to 6. An enthusiastic teacher called Tony Cross takes the indoor classes and local Endurance Coach Steve Partington takes the outdoor sessions.

11.Mar.13 Vault Manchester reaches new heights
Saturday saw the ninth annual occurance of Vault Manchester, attracting athletes aged between nine and sixty. And it was a year to celebrate - the largest number of entries ever, the largest crowds ever, and a new Vault Manchester record for Holly Bleasdale.

On the same day a man jumped from space to smash the sound barrier, runners from across Merseyside and further afield, took on their own challenge of smashing their PBs.

03.Sep.12 M60 Athletics Network Inter-Club Trophy
The pilot competition organized by the M60 Athletics Network took place on Sunday 29th July at Longford Park, Stretford. The M60 Athletics Network Inter-Club Trophy Meeting involved eight teams competing over three different age groups: U11, U13 and U15.

20.Jun.12 Young athlete Endurance Relays on Isle of Man
The Isle of Man Secondary Schools in partnership with the Isle of Man Athletics Network and the Isle of Man Athletics Association’s Athletics Development Officer, launched a new format of athletics at the National Sport Centre - based on the “Endurance Relays” created by Sportshall founder George Bunner.
