There are regional Assocations for officials in England to join if they wish. Fees are minimal and the Associations are run by volunteers to help support and develop officiating throughout the country. Whatever your level or experience, why not support your local association and join this year?

21.Dec.12 Introduction to seated and ambulant throws workshop
This introductory workshop will give coaches an understanding of the classifications relevant to ambulant and seated throws and the relevant basic technical model for each. It will also outline the sport specific rules and give coaches an understanding of the basic design features of throwing frames.

After record attendance numbers at the November session coaches are invited to attend the third East Midland Coach Development Day on Sunday 27th January, 10.00-15.00 at Loughborough University.

06.Dec.12 Local injury prevention workshop attracts over 90 runners!
The belief that road runners are only interested in bashing out the miles as part of their training was firmly held up for scrutiny at a session held in Leicestershire where 90 athletes, coaches and LiRF qualified run leaders attended a “injury prevention/physical preparation” practical workshop.
