02.Nov.11 Clean sweep for Harriers in East Surrey League opener
Herne Hill Harriers scored a 1-2-3 in the opening fixture of the East Surrey League on 29 October providing a comfortable team win for the south London athletics club. Benedict Whitby, a former commonwealth runner, Brian Wilder and Keith Newton took the first three places with Sam Knight in 8th completing the winning scoring men's team.

The One Movement Event took place at Waltham Pool and Track with a total of 19 different sports on offer, with music from local artists also on offer. The Athletics session was ran by volunteers from Eton Manor AC, who gave a total of 187 young people of different ages, ethnicities and abilities a chance to try Long Jump, 60m sprints and Shot Putt.
