Harrow AC, part of the West London McCain Athletics Network were presented with their Clubmark accreditation at the recent McCain Young Athletes League at their Bannister track.

16.Jun.10 Official Launch of Lea Valley McCain Athletics Network
Youngsters from across the four clubs involved in the Lea Valley Athletics Network took part in a series of races and medley relays to celebrate the kick off of the network, followed by the presentation of the award cheque to the network for £80,000 by England Athletics' Chief Executive Mike Summers.

14.Jun.10 £9000 worth of grants awarded to London athletics officials
Official Sports London has awarded 54 grants totalling £9000 to those wishing to begin or further their athletics officiating careers.

09.Jun.10 Debut of QuadKids in North London
On a bright sunny evening at Parliament Hill track a large group of primary school age children from Highgate Harriers and London Heathside tried out the new sprint, throw, run and jump programme provided by Quadkids. The event was supported by members of the North London McCain Athletics Network.

Super8 athletics, the innovative athletics competition bridging format has been selected for inclusion in this year’s Balfour Beatty London Youth Games programme as a development event. The Schools' Super8 event is being delivered by QuadKids and supported by England Athletics.
