21.Dec.11 RUN! Christmas Games in Walthamstow
On a crisp (and then wet) morning and in conjunction with the Pop-Up Arena company, who kindly provided a curved track and grandstand for the event, Waltham Forest held the first ever Christmas Games in the town centre, with festive athletics-based activities including Santa’s Dash, Shot Putt the Christmas Pudding and Clearing the Chimney standing Long Jump.....

05.Dec.11 Run! Project hits new heights attracting 22,033 participants
Run! is going from strength to strength in London, 6 months into the project the 10 Run! Activators have recruited an impressive 130 new coaches and 201 new volunteers who have given 447 hours to the project and 426 participants have had access to informal coach athlete and volunteer workshops.
