Over 100 disabled youngsters from across the Lea Valley Athletics Network area and beyond descended on Lee Valley Athletics Centre for what turned out to be a very successful and enjoyable afternoon.

London Mayor Boris Johnson wants 'bouncing activators' for projects including Run! to show people the benefits of health and fitness. England Athletics' Run! project is just one of 18 from '100s' to have applied for funding from the London Mayor's Office.

06.Dec.10 Run! Project for inner London launched
England Athletics is delighted to announce a new project, supported by the London Mayor's Office, to help develop the sport of athletics in the inner London Boroughs. This project aims to take the sport to the parts of our capital where there is currently little or no provision. It aims to increase participation, widen access and unearth raw talent.
