South Staffordshire Athletics Network was one of the first Athletics Networks to be set up - back in 2009. As more clubs have wanted to join the netowrk has decided to rename following the increased geographical spread of members.

02.Jul.12 Staffordshire Olympic Relay and Junior Games
On Saturday 23rd June athletics and running clubs from across Staffordshire took part in a unique, one-off event organised by South Staffordshire Athletics Network, to celebrate the forthcoming Olympic Games in London. The idea from network Chair John Finney was that as many clubs as possible run in an Olympic style relay.

The McCain Birmingham Games is a high quality T&F competition promoted by the Midland Counties, part of the European Athletisme Promotion (EAP) Circuit. The event is open to all UKA and IPC classified athletes; it is the final day before Paralympic Selection.
