An introductory workshop will give coaches an understanding of the classifications relevant to ambulant running and jumping and the relevant basic technical model for each. It will take place at the Alexander Stadium on 17th March.

A free one day course providing disability awareness training on topics such as legislation, communication, inclusion, and competition pathways will be held at the University of Warwick on 16th February from 9.30 to 4.30pm.

21.Dec.12 Introduction to seated and ambulant throws workshop
This introductory workshop will give coaches an understanding of the classifications relevant to ambulant and seated throws and the relevant basic technical model for each. It will also outline the sport specific rules and give coaches an understanding of the basic design features of throwing frames.

The West Midlands Regional Awards took place on Wednesday 17th October at the West Midlands police sports and social club in Edgbaston. England Athletics board member Kevan Taylor was the guest who presented the awards.

A free wheelchair Racing Introduction Workshop will be held at the University of Warwick on Sunday 28th October 2012. The workshop will provide an introduction to the equipment, techniques and classifications used in wheelchair racing.

17.Aug.12 World’s top athletes compete at the University of Warwick ahead of Paralympics.
Building up for the 2012 London Games, twelve Paralympians from the GB and Ghana teams joined athletes from across the UK and the University of Warwick Wheelchair Racing Academy for an evening event of 100m, 200m, and 1500m races for sprinters and wheelchair racing.
