Worcester AC’s Jenny Nesbitt will lead the West Midlands challenge at this year’s Virgin London Mini Marathon on Sunday 22 April after convincingly winning the England Athletics West Midlands Women’s Under 17 Trial race at Stourport Cycleway in a time of 16 minutes 48 seconds by more than two and a quarter minutes writes Tom McCook.

The DSE Midland Disability Athletics Championships will take place on Wednesday 25th April 2012 at the Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium in Leicester. The championships are open to athletes of all abilities and impairment groups.

06.Mar.12 West Midlands win 18 medals at the EA Indoor Age Group Championships
Young athletes from the West Midlands bagged a grand total of eighteen medals (four gold, nine silver and five bronze) when the Aviva England Athletics Open Under 20, 17 and 15 Indoor championships were once again successfully staged at the NIA in Birmingham.
