08.Apr.13 Job vacancy: UK Athletics Coach wanted (Birmingham Schools)
Looking for a UK Athletics Coach to run a series of 5-6 specific Special Educational Needs Athletics sessions beginning across the city after Easter. Sessions are 1 hour after school. Some Coaching Assistant volunteers to help support in these sessions are also needed.

25.Feb.13 Disability Sprints and Jumps workshop:17th March
An introductory workshop will give coaches an understanding of the classifications relevant to ambulant running and jumping and the relevant basic technical model for each. It will take place at the Alexander Stadium on 17th March.

04.Feb.13 Disability awareness training: 16th February
A free one day course providing disability awareness training on topics such as legislation, communication, inclusion, and competition pathways will be held at the University of Warwick on 16th February from 9.30 to 4.30pm.

21.Dec.12 Introduction to seated and ambulant throws workshop
This introductory workshop will give coaches an understanding of the classifications relevant to ambulant and seated throws and the relevant basic technical model for each. It will also outline the sport specific rules and give coaches an understanding of the basic design features of throwing frames.

05.Dec.12 West Midlands Coach Development Sessions increase local knowledge
Saturday 17th Nov saw the second of the West Midlands Local Coach Development Programme (LCDP) mornings at the HiPAC at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, following on from the first in October and with the third on the 2nd March next year after the indoor competition season.
