24.Dec.12 Time to Listen - a course for Club Welfare Officers: 6th March
An Athletics-specific safeguarding training workshop will be held on 6th March in Guildford. It is targeted specifically at volunteers in a club welfare role. It builds on basic awareness and focuses on implementation in the club environment.

20.Dec.12 Greg Rutherford celebrates at Marshall MK AC where it all began
Sport England has invited all Olympic and Paralympic medal winners to nominate the community club where they discovered their love of sport and on the vital part the club played in the athlete’s journey to London 2012. Greg Rutherford's is the first club to have been congratulated.
