    2012 has been a very special year, with Olympic memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.  For the spectators watching, they just saw the athletes performing..... but those involved in coaching, officiating and administering know that it takes a whole team of people, mainly working quietly behind the scenes, to ensure that an athlete reaches their potential.

    England Athletics have signed the Government’s Charter to tackle homophobia and transphobia in sport because we are committed to standing up to discrimination, building a more family friendly club and create an environment where there is no room for abuse within sport.

    The England Athletics Indoor Combined Events championships takes place at the EIS in Sheffield on 5th and 6th January 2013.  This event incorporates the MCAA, SEAA, Northern Athletics Championships and the Welsh Championships.  Timetable and information now available and online entry open.

    20.Nov.12 South of England Athletics Officials' Association AGM: this Sunday

    The South of England Athletics Officials' Association (SEAOA) will be holding its' annual AGM in Eton this Sunday.  The Association are keen to make some changes to their constitution, which will give more flexibility as regards the date of the AGM, so a quorum this time is vital.
