28.Oct.11 First Sportshall Leaders day and Competition held
On Tuesday 18th October Kevin Hill from Sportshall delivered a day of Sportshall at Norham Community Technology College. This consisted of leaders training with 14 Year 10 students throughout the morning followed by a primary school competition in the afternoon.

This fantastic evening celebrated the clubs, coaches and volunteers that make athletics one of the top sports in the county in terms of participation. This now annual event was a celebration of the support within the region over the last 12 months and also the success of the award winners.

Some of the biggest names in English athletics have joined coaches, officials and other volunteers from clubs across England at the England Athletics Hall of Fame and National Volunteer Awards night (and Haile Gebreselassie dropped in too!)
