08.Apr.11 Leeds wheelchair racing clinics inspire a final push
Saturday saw the finale of the 2010/11 Leeds wheelchair racing clinics, with the last of the 6 training sessions held at the John Charles Centre for Sport. The sessions were also accredited by the 2012 inspire mark, part of 2012’s branding family. The clinics are the only wheelchair racing sessions with this accreditation in the UK.

Grassroots sport in the West Midlands has been given a welcome boost with three Birmingham-based clubs sharing £2,000 grant - Birchfield Harriers' application, submitted alongside another 1,000 applications was one to gain.

As well as the track and field development day on the 2nd April, over 30 runners attended and took part in both practical and theory sessions at a day of fell running development organised by Phil Barnes and supported by the Cheshire McCain Athletics Network.
