    A glorious sunny day and a bone dry Epping Forest set the stage perfectly for Orion Harrier's Centenary Year mobmatch.  Orion's annual fixtures against some of the world's oldest running clubs go back to 1912.

    DASH Athletics Club have completed a three day Sportshall Athletics event, in partnership with Bramhall High School - one of the local schools within the Club's catchment area - and involving every pupil in the school.

    31.Oct.11 Sportshall season gets underway in Essex

    The 2011 Sportshall season got off to a flying start with the first of three Sportshall fixtures run by the Essex Athletics Network.  A frantic and often noisy two-hours of competition, flawlessly coordinated by Sportshall Organiser Adam Burgess, certainly whetted the appetite of all concerned.

    28.Oct.11 First Sportshall Leaders day and Competition held

    On Tuesday 18th October Kevin Hill from Sportshall delivered a day of Sportshall at Norham Community Technology College. This consisted of leaders training with 14 Year 10 students throughout the morning followed by a primary school competition in the afternoon.

    The second coach education workshop organised by the Essex Athletics Network, in conjunction with the network’s external partners SEEVIC College gave coaches much to food for thought as the Rebecca Cruickshank delivered an expert session on “Nutrition and the competitive athlete”.
