Sheffield Running Club have achieved the England Athletics club accreditation award for adult only clubs. The club applied to reaccredit in Jan 2012 and work hard to achieve the award in 3 months.

This year the Loughborough International takes place on Sunday 20th May and we'll see a great line up of athletes competing, but also a number of coaches taking an opportunity to develop as team staff members and operate at a major championship.

15.May.12 Sussex Athletics Network implementing Athletics 365 programme
Since the 2010 pilot a number of athletics clubs in teh Sussex Atheltics Network have implemented the Athletics 365 programme to complement their weekly club coaching sessions. For several of these clubs Athletics 365 now provides the building blocks of introductory athletics coaching for young athletes.

Following John Pares' victory in the Commonwealth 24 Hour Championship in North Wales last year, he showed what a top world class performer he is. In the women's race a nail biting finish gets England's Karen Hathaway a podium place and fulfils selection criteria for the World champs.
