10.Jan.12 England Cross Country team selected for Cardiff
The England Cross Country Association (ECCA) decided at their Team Managers' meeting in October to support the Cardiff McCain's UK Cross Challenge. Strong Teams have been chosen and the athletes selected are hereby announced.

Daniel Gardiner and Gemma Weetman won two closely-fought senior competitions at the England Indoor Combined Events Championships while their junior counterparts Alexander Wort and Katy Marchant also saw gold in this first championship of 2012.

Daniel Gardiner leads the senior men's competition at the England Indoor Combined Event Championships after day one, while his namesake (almost) Daniel Gardner lies second in the junior men's behind Alexander Wort.

Athletes wishing to compete as a disabled athlete will need a UK classification. Places are available for athletes with a physical disability to register for an appointment at a classification clinic at Brunel University.
