South Shields Harriers have recently held a series of taster sessions at local primary school. Over the last 2 weeks, 77 children, from 4 classes aged between 8 and 10yrs old have taken part in the ‘Multi Skills’ event.

Harrogate Harriers & AC, part of the North Yorkshire McCain Athletics Network, is currently utilising an athletics 365 equipment bag being 'hosted' by the club. The Network utilising this bag is the next development from the Athletics 365 workshop the network held a few months ago.

27.Jul.11 Bristol Half Marathon - additional discount for club members
In a move to encourage more affiliated clubs to take part in the 2011 Bristol half marathon, race organisers are offering a special rate of £20 to club runners who will be “race fit” on 11 September. The race which is the UK Championship also has places available for elite British male and female athletes.

Blaydon and Elswick Harriers have won the North East Divsion 1 Young Athletes League and for the first time in their history have been promoted to the Premier League.
