England Athletics is pleased to announce that it has successfully applied to have two courses approved by the Register of Exercise Professionals framework. This will help encourage registered personal trainers to become part of athletics in England.

Schools will receive a funding boost of £150 million per annum for the academic years 2013/14 and 2014/2015. The money will go directly to primary school headteachers to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children.
