    A free one day course providing disability awareness training on topics such as legislation, communication, inclusion, and competition pathways will be held at the University of Warwick on 16th February from 9.30 to 4.30pm.

    The South of England Athletics Officials' Association held its annual conference on Sunday and got a great turnout of officials from all disciplines and of different levels to attend workshops, network and listen to guest speaker Stuart Storey.

    Regional Councils play a vital role in the development of the sport.  Nominations are needed in all regions from all sectors of athletics to ensure that the membership of Councils is representative of the whole sport within their region.  Nominations close on 11th February!

  • 18.Jan.13 NECAA Indoor Championships 2013: entries close 2nd February

    The North East Indoor T&F Championships will be held at Gateshead College Academy for Sport on February 16th & 17th, and entries close on Saturday 2nd February so make sure you get yours in if you want to take part.

    14.Jan.13 EDM Play Day: 17th February

    Precision Athletics are running the first 2013 session of their popular "Play Days" next month.  The EDM is the Electronic Distance Measuring device used by field judges at meetings and this is a good chance to get to grips with EDM equipment in an informal setting.
