A Pole Vault event will be held on Friday 2nd March, organised by South Surrey Athletics Network and hosted by Guildford and Godalming AC. Speaking will be Tarzem Shoker who has a thriving Pole Vault group at Guildford. He will lead discussions on the Pole Vault DVD by Rick Suhr.

England Athletics are pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Lease and Tim Snowdon as National Coach Mentors for Pole Vault. The duo will be taking over from Scott Simpson.

Junior athletes from KAAC, South Lakes schools and Barrow competed against teams from all over the North West at the Sportshall Finals held at Sportcity. The team was created through a local Sportshall athletics event last year where 7 primary schools competed.

In just 50 days, clubs around the country will be hosting a Try Athletics Day to celebrate 100 Days to Go. Clubs are able to take advantage of a national marketing campaign and also receive a host club resource pack to support the planning and promotion of their event.
