The Amateur Athletic Association (AAA) has a fund which is able to support English Athletes under the age of 23 who are in full time education and active in athletics. Applications are now welcomed.

18.Oct.12 School children take on the World Marathon Challenge
Tuesday's World Food Day saw thousands of children running all over the world as part of the Save the Children World Marathon Challenge to raise awareness of the campaign to help the millions of children going hungry in the world’s poorest countries.

17.Oct.12 West Midlands Schools race the World Marathon Challenge
It was a bright but very cold start for four schools at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham as they arrived to run a marathon each on the track. Teams of approximately 15 boys and 15 girls were taking part in the Save The Children World Marathon Challenge.

Before the 2012 Save the Children World Marathon Challenge had even gotten under way across the UK’s Flagship Event, London was already making the headlines on the BBC News channel with Newham’s very own Olympic silver medallist Christine Ohuruogu showing her support.
