On the last blustery Sunday in September, Herts County Athletic Network hosted a Steeplechase training day at Lee Valley Athletics Centre. The session was led by ex-steeplechaser Rob McKim, ably assisted by hurdles coach Brian Hopkins.

The Hertfordshire Athletic Leaders' Academy has had a busy Summer which has paid dividentds for local young coaches and leaders; members of the Academy had a chance to learn about meeting management, organise an U13 event, and find out more about fundraising grants and sponsorship.
